The  XVI UMAU World Congress will be held in Nicaragua and co-organized by Asociación Nicaragüense de Derecho Agrario y Derecho Ambiental, under the auspices of the Corte Centroamericana de Justicia;

Important Dates :

from 29 September 2020 to 2nd October. On 3rd October there will be an optional excursion;
DEADLINE for the written papers will be 31th may 2020.

Venue: 

the Congress will be held at Hotel Barceló Montelimar (60 Km from Managua). The organizers will not cover the costs of accommodation but they have agreed on a special offer for partecipants: $61.91 per person (for double rooms) and $90.43 for single rooms. These prices are for 'all inclusive' service (breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks are included);

Fees: 

UMAU members who will be up to date with their membership fees will not be required to pay for the registration fee, which is 120 US dollars;

Topics:

Topic 1: POLICIES, RULES AND MODELS FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM FARMS AND / OR VULNERABLE GROUPS
Topic 2: JURISPRUDENCE AS A SOURCE OF AGRICULTURAL LAW

In addition, there will be a panel where papers not compliant with the 2 topics will be admitted if the authors can justify their proposal (new and interesting research of agricultural law, etc.)
