Cooperation – New Connections with Experts from Hungary
At AAEP, we continuously seek new opportunities for international cooperation, networking among experts, and building partnerships that can lead to meaningful joint activities in the field of agricultural and environmental law. We are therefore pleased about our recent meeting with Professor Mária Réti and Professor Klara Bak from Hungary, which opened the door to discussions on potential forms of future collaboration.
Both experts are actively involved in the international academic and professional environment, including activities connected to the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA). Their engagement brings a valuable international dimension to their expertise, particularly in the areas of cooperative and agricultural law. They are also affiliated with the Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest, where they focus on teaching and research in agricultural, land, environmental, and cooperative law.
Mária Réti, Head of the Department of Agricultural Law at the ELTE Faculty of Law, is recognized as a leading expert in agricultural and land law, agricultural environmental protection, and the legal aspects of cooperatives. Together with Klara Bak, she contributed valuable insights and experience from both academia and international professional practice to our discussions.
During the meeting, we explored several topics closely related to AAEP’s activities, including the protection of agricultural land, agricultural policy, environmental challenges, the legal aspects of sustainable development, and the connection between academia and professional practice. We also discussed concrete possibilities for future cooperation, such as joint research initiatives, expert events, publication activities, and international projects.
We see meetings like this as an excellent opportunity to connect with new partners, exchange experiences, and identify common areas of interest in topics that unite us. We believe this new connection marks the beginning of an inspiring and long-term collaboration.
